Where people travel from

• Codicote 2 miles Straight down the Codicote Road towards Welwyn. Three or four minutes from the village.
• Welwyn Garden City 3 miles Head north on the A1000 onto Codicote Road. About seven minutes from the town centre.
• Hatfield 5 miles Take the A1000 or the A1(M) north to Junction 6, then follow signs for Codicote. Around ten minutes.
• Hertford 8 miles Follow the country roads north-west towards Welwyn, then on to Codicote Road. Around fifteen minutes.
• Stevenage 10 miles Join the A1(M) southbound and come off at Junction 6, signed Welwyn and Codicote. Roughly fifteen minutes.
• St Albans 12 miles Head east across country, or pick up the A1(M) north to Junction 6. About twenty minutes either way.
• Harpenden 12 miles Country roads east through Wheathampstead, then on to the Codicote Road, or the A1(M) north to Junction 6 if the lanes are slow.
• Hitchin 15 miles Take the A602 to Stevenage and join the A1(M) southbound to Junction 6. Roughly twenty-five minutes.
• Luton 15 miles Head east on the A505 or through the lanes towards Welwyn, then on to Codicote Road. Under half an hour.
• Letchworth 18 miles Head south on the A1(M), past Stevenage, and come off at Junction 6. Roughly twenty-five minutes.
• Hemel Hempstead 18 miles Across on the A414 to St Albans, then the A1(M) north to Junction 6, or the country roads through Wheathampstead.
• Bedford 30 miles Take the A1 south, which becomes the A1(M). Stay on it to Junction 6 at Welwyn. About forty-five minutes.
• Cambridge 35 miles Join the A1(M) southbound and stay on it all the way to Junction 6. Around fifty minutes.
