About The Maltings
In 2005 we moved to a different town. Most of our customers came with us.
Thirty years of naturist massage. Twenty-one of them on the Codicote Road.
We started in Baldock in the 1990s. In 2005 we moved to Welwyn, onto the Codicote Road, and we have not moved since. People who had been coming to us in Baldock started driving the extra distance, and some of them are still on the books today. That is the only piece of evidence about this place I would ask you to weigh.
Here is what we actually do. You ring and book an hour. You come in, you take your clothes off, and so does your therapist. There is no towel to arrange and no part of the hour spent waiting while somebody rearranges one. That is the whole of the idea, and it is why people who try it stop going to places that do it the other way.
The therapists stay
One number describes this business, and it is not thirty years
It is that our therapists are measured in years rather than months. Everyone here is trained in Swedish and remedial massage, and several work in deep tissue, hot stones and tantric on top of that.
Because they stay, the regulars ask for them by name and get them. By the third or fourth visit she already knows which shoulder is the bad one and how firm you actually want it, as opposed to what you said the first time. That is not a service you can open next year and offer.
What it costs, and how it works
Cash on arrival, and nothing before it
Six massages, from £80 for thirty minutes to £220 for an hour with two therapists. Cash on arrival. No deposit, no booking fee, no card machine, and nothing on your bank statement afterwards. We have never taken money up front and we are not going to start.
The rota is published here every week, so you can see who is in before you ring. If the person you want is not on it, ask when she is next — it is usually sooner than the page suggests.
If you have never done this before
Most people who ring us have not
Say so on the phone and you will be told a bit more as you go, and that is the end of it. You are shown to your own room, you undress in your own time behind a closed door, and nobody in the building thinks any of it is unusual — they have all been doing this for years. The first visit page sets out exactly what happens, start to finish.
We are on the Codicote Road in Welwyn, a couple of miles from Junction 6 of the A1(M). Monday to Saturday, 11am to 7:30pm. Sunday, midday to 7pm. Ring 01438 820224 and ask for whatever you like — including all the things you would rather not put in an email.
Ring us, and we'll find you a time
No deposit, no booking fee, no account to make. A phone call or a WhatsApp message is the whole process.
