A four hand massage is two therapists working on you at once, in mirrored rhythm, for the whole session. Thirty minutes is £140, forty-five £180 and sixty £220, cash on arrival, with no deposit and no booking fee. Like everything here it is naturist — you and both therapists undressed — in a private massage room.
Who it suits, and who it does not
It suits people who have had plenty of massages and want something they have not had before, and people who find it hard to switch their head off. Two sets of hands moving in time is genuinely disorientating in a way one set is not: there is no pattern to anticipate, so the part of your brain that tracks what is coming next simply gives up. That is the whole appeal.
Plenty of people book it as their first visit, and it works: two therapists sounds like more to think about and turns out to be less, because there is nothing to follow and nothing to decide. If you would rather start with one, the full body massage is the other way in and there is no wrong order. It is not the massage for a specific injury or knot; that is deep tissue.
What it feels like
Both therapists come in together and both stay for the full session. You lie face down and they start on either side of your back, one working your left, one your right, matching each other stroke for stroke.
From there they move down in step — both arms at once, then both legs. You turn over about halfway and the pattern continues on the front. Neither of them stands and waits while the other works; the synchronisation is the point, and holding it for an hour is harder than it looks, which is why not every pairing does it equally well.
Both therapists work to the same pressure and it is set at the start, so tell them before they begin rather than after. If you want it changed partway through, say so once and both will adjust — you do not need to tell them separately.
It is normal to find the first minute or two odd. Give it that long before deciding; almost everybody settles.
Afterwards
Give yourself a few minutes before you drive. Two therapists working in time tends to leave people more disoriented afterwards than a single massage does, and that wears off within a quarter of an hour rather than instantly. There are showers, and most people use them.

Is it worth it over a standard massage?
If you are someone who struggles to switch off, yes — it is the one that does it fastest. If you sleep at the drop of a hat anyway, a full body massage will serve you just as well for less.
Can I book it as a first visit?

Do I need to book further ahead?
Usually, yes — it needs two therapists free at the same time. A few days' notice makes it much easier.

Do both therapists work on me the whole time?
